Pit Wall listens to the UDP feed from your console, runs the strategy, tyre and corner maths locally on your PC, and talks to you over the radio while you drive. Every number it says is measured — never guessed by a language model.

Hungaroring, sixteen laps left, running fourth on old hards with a quicker car three seconds behind. Box and lose the position, or stay out and defend? Everything below is the running application: telemetry arriving over UDP, the strategy engine doing the maths, and the engineer's own voice answering questions asked over the radio. No dialogue was written for this video.
Turn the sound on — the engineer's answers are spoken by the app's own voice. The race is synthetic, generated as genuine F1 2026 packet structures and sent to the real receiver; the software reading them is not.
Pit Wall reads all 24 cars from every packet, not just yours, so a question about a rival is answered with that rival's data.

Ask for the gap, a rival's last two laps, or what changes the call. Say the wake word or use a button. It can be interrupted mid-sentence, and it remembers standing instructions across sessions.

Not "brake later" but "brake 8 metres later while protecting apex speed" — measured against your own personal best, with differences below the noise floor left unsaid.
Recorded sessions replay without the game running. Compare two laps distance-aligned, see where the time actually went, and keep a permanent history of every stint.
It separates "the socket is open" from "real telemetry is arriving", recommends the right LAN address for your console, and names the actual bind conflict when something else owns the port.
Most "AI" tools hand your telemetry to a language model and hope. Pit Wall does the opposite: deterministic code computes every number, and the model is only allowed to say them out loud.
That split is the whole design. A model that invents a lap time sounds exactly as confident as one that read it, and mid-race you cannot tell the difference. So the model never sees raw telemetry to interpret — it receives computed results from an allow-listed set of tools and narrates them.
Common questions never reach a model at all. Gaps, tyre temperatures, damage and strategy status are answered locally, which is why they come back instantly and cost nothing.
Your data stays on your PC. The database, the raw 60 Hz traces and your Windows username are never uploaded. Only compact situation summaries go out, and only for questions that genuinely need judgement.

Pit Wall costs $20 once. The engineer's voice and reasoning run on your own OpenAI account, so those calls appear on your OpenAI bill. Most questions are answered locally and cost nothing at all, but a long race with heavy radio use will run up a small charge. You set your own spending limits on the OpenAI dashboard.
Pit Wall is Windows-only today. The macOS build is in progress; it is not sold or promised here until it exists and has been tested on real hardware.

Paid by Venmo, sent by hand. It is a one-person operation, so codes are emailed personally rather than issued by a robot.
One code activates one computer. Reinstalling on the same machine is fine and does not use it up. Moving to a new PC needs a new code — email me if a machine died and I will sort it out.

It is built and tested against a PS5 sending UDP telemetry in the 2026 format. The PC version of the game emits the same packets, so it will very likely work, but I have not tested it and will not claim it does. Ask me before buying if that is your setup.
No. It reads the telemetry stream the game is designed to broadcast, the same one used by overlays, sim dashboards and motion rigs. It never sends inputs to the game and never touches its files.
Less than most people expect, because the common questions never reach a model. Gaps, tyre temperatures, damage and strategy status are computed locally and cost nothing. What costs money is open-ended conversation and deep strategy reasoning during a long race. You can cap your spend on the OpenAI dashboard, and Pit Wall keeps working without the radio if the key stops.

Once, to activate. After that the app runs offline — telemetry, strategy, analysis and the dashboard all work with no connection. Only the spoken radio needs internet, because that is the part that calls OpenAI.
Reinstalling Pit Wall on the same Windows install is fine. A fresh Windows install or a new PC will need a new activation — email me and I will issue one. I would rather do that by hand than build a system that gets it wrong.
